What sticks were used on dedicated Sega Spider-Man cabs?

Which ball top sticks were used on a Dedicated Spider-man cab from Sega? When i got my machine years and years ago it had Happ Supers since it was converted to Alien Vs. Predator. I have a new control panel cut (as the old one was in terrible shape/water damage) I'd like to find some original sticks if possible (these were micro switch sticks i think and i hope) as long as i'm not looking at 4 more Wico 4" leafs i think i should be able to eat for the next month or so >.<

i know they had "cherry" switches on them... i remember that from when i changed out all the buttons and switchs on the sticks... just regular switches no little metal tabs on them or anything

anyone else have any idea's as to what brand these sticks were? was the CP routed out to hold 3" sticks or where they 4"? Where are all my spider-man collectors at?

sweet tyvm, that's exactly what my panel looks like. now i can figure out which of 40 holes is the right buttons as well lol.

I would bet money on them being 8 way Wico microswitch joysticks. Since the bottom on the cp is routed out, I would also guess they are 3.5".

my panel bottom is not routed out, i think what your seeing there is someone wrenching the sticks as far down into the soft mdf as they could (causing them to leave an imprint).

Not sure what the brand of the sticks is by looking but here's mine....It looks like it measures 3" from the underside of the panel where they mount to the top of the ball. Looks like I need to dust out there after doing some woodworking....

that looks like a very nice cab, thanks for the additional pics.

i never figured out how they measured those balltops, is it from the top of the cp to the top of the ball, or just the shaft or from the actuator to the top of the ball i could never figure it out.

I don't know either which is why I posted the pic of the tape measure. :) But I would think they would measure from the top of the plastic base to the tip of the ball as if you were measuring your manhood.

As for my cab, yeah it's pretty nice. There is some unfortunate bubbling in the CPO though. Not sure if these are available anywhere or not.

Yep, just looked. Costs more than I care to blow on fixing it up right now but it looks like a quality item. Maybe in the future but I have too many other projects already at this point!
