What sized T-molding do Universal cabinets use? Color?

I've seen them with Black, wood grain and even with white t-molding. Told that they used a very similar molding (if not the same) as the Nintendo Cabinets.

So, what size do they use? 15mm? What about the color? White? Black? Wood Grain? Or all three?

I've got an essentially NOS Universal cab that p1899m hooked me up with not long ago. It's never had a game in it in its whole life (I'm putting mr. do in it). It's got wood grain t-molding. If you want me to take measurements, pics, whatever, shoot me a PM so I remember to do that for you tonight.

I have no idea if they ever had other kinds of t-molding.

My Cosmic Avenger was flat black, though it seemed thinner than the Nintendo stuff, and I don't think it was PVC. It almost seemed more like edge banding than t-molding it was so thin, but it did have a spine.

Did anyone find out the correct size for the universal t-molding ? I have a Mr. Do I would like to find replacement wood grain t-molding for. Please let me know.

I sent Charger a pm TO see I gave him a sample (chompingquarters.com-flat nintendo mold)
at the Portland show to compare.
well...whats the word, bird?

Rich it is not wide enough. The Mr.Do is wood grain, Magical Spot is white, as is the Cosmic Monsters 2. They all seem to be the same width. Rough measure looks like over 3/4 inch wide. Looking at the other games, Dig Dug looks like a close match in size.

I've been calling around, to identify whether the common sources have t-molding that can match the specs for some of these Universal games.

My specs currently for my Cosmic Guerilla are as follows, which are different than the specs for the tmolding on Cosmic Alien.

Cosmic Guerilla

13/16" wide
1/16" thick
1/8" channel
t-molding color: White
completely flat - if t-molding is an option

Charter Industries
Don't have an offering that meets these specs. "Custom" option ($580 setup) output would be:

Width .810 +/- .005
Thickness .136 +/- .005
Barb: .145 +/- .010

From their catalog, this 'custom' option is essentially #5558, but a little less wide. (see attachment for the profile + dimensions)
Charter appears to not be an option at this point.

It doesn't appear that Outwater has an option either, waiting for a sample in the mail...
