I'm going to pick up 4 or 5 games...what size trailer should I get? most are standard size games, nothing crazy.

would a 5x9 uhaul with ramp be big enough?

The real question is what are you pulling the trailer w/?

full size chevy blazer.

can get 6x12 trailer as well...but i think that is a little large for 4 games? I can also put one in the back of the blazer so really will probably have 4 on the trailer and one in the back...getting 5 games total.

What if 4 or 5 turns into 5 or 6? Go with the 6x12 IMO.

i bought 4 from ebay and i'm picking up a rampage from a member here...that's about the extent of it...i doubt very seriously that it will turn in to any more.

You can comfortable fit 4 games in a 5 by 9, and depending on the games, up to 8.

thanks! probably just cover them and strap them down and be good to go then?

I think Rampage is the biggest of the bunch. The rest is a pac man, gorf, midway bowling from 1979, and a contra conversion.

You can lay 4, maybe 5, of them down in a 6x12 covered trailer. That way you don't have to worry about weather.

didnt think that would be big enough, but didn't think about laying them down either....so...what do you do, just stack them 2 high next to each other?

Yes that is perfect. You can fit 6 regular size cabinets in there. I use that trailer frequently. With the ramp and a hand truck you can move them all by yourself too.

Wrap them in shrink wrap and stand them up. Get some cardboard/styrofoam and place in between the cabinets when you slide them together. I even place cardboard under the straps so they don't rub into the cabs.

I made 4 trips within the last year from GA to VA for cabinets with that trailer or one similar to it with no issues. The sides are high enough to prevent the cabs from tipping over.

I wish I had pics but I don't.

This is what you want to get and I think its $24.95 a day.

The trailers are too short to stand most of them up; only 65" Laying them down, you should be able to fit 4 on the floor since most cabs are 6' tall or less.
