I was looking at Arcadeshop.com for T-Molding for my DK Jr cab and noticed 2 different types that appear to match my machine. I am confused.

There is:

9/16" White Flat Nintendo T-Molding
For Nintendo cabinets - like Donkey Kong/DK Jr./Popeye/Mario/Punch Out

Which I have believed to be the correct size T-Molding I need for quite some time...

Then I saw this product below:

5/8" White Nintendo T-Molding
For Partical Board type Nintendo cabinets

Now I am confused. My Cab is Partical Board.....

Which should I buy??

Thanks for the help guys!

Also pull a small section out to see if the slot is in the middle of the edge or offset.
Most particle cabs were offset and no white molding is made for them.

I just checked and it is offset :(

What are my options? I HAVE to replace this T-Molding!

Someone here on the Forum is working to make repro. Not sure what the timeline on that is right now.

Yes it is audiomidiman. I have contacted him about it. Thanks!

This is so frustrating. No more particle board cabs for me!

The best option is to bondo the slot and recut it with a router and slot cutter bit.
I don't know what size slot cutter but do a search here and you will find threads on this subject.

That sounds like a great option! I have access to a router. Because it is particle board I will probably use some wood hardener before I bondo to give it some extra strength. Thanks!

Thanks for the link! I noticed it said this is for 3/4" T-Molding though, not 5/8". Can you confirm that you used this effectively with 5/8" molding?

yes, the notch is the same width. you place it upto the notch that you are redoing, and lock the width there, so it will cut it in the same spot.
