original sf1. It has correct side art, bezel and CP overlay, but worng marquee.

Its an almost unplayable form of SF. I doubt many people will want it for orignal SF, but its a cool historically significant cabinet. Try to make sure it goes to a good home.

HEY ITS YOU! i dont know how you got my willow here so fast but THANK YOU!

P.s. had to laugh at how they cut that marquee to overlap and make it say street fighter 1 hee hee.
cant believe there was an mvc2 in there. Super score!

You are welcome ultracombo. On the sf cab i plugged it in and was like did that just say naomi? Want to stick that in another cab with a 25 in monitor. Wondering if there is a multi sf pcb i can put in this cab? Like to find matching original marquee for it also if anyone has one fs Thanks Paul

Yes there is a good multi. The really good version of multi is the 18-1 CPS. It uses all original ROMs but can be a little pricy and rare.

The only Capcom 18 in 1 I've read about seems to have some serious reliability issues according to the people that have owned it. Is this a different one you're referring to?

SF1 is the one cab I'm not super dedicated to keeping my facts straight on in the Street Fighter line up. There is one dedicated SF1 cab that has a very distinct curved shape to the back and CP (large enough to hold the big buttons). I could see Capcom shipping SF1 in Dynamo HS-1's later in the game's life. *shrug*

If you're anal about Street Fighter titles being accurate but want a multiboard, I'd also recommend investigating the 18-in-1. I haven't heard any bad things about the versions on this boardset (which runs off of modified CPS-2 hardware). But I have heard about the reliability issues.

There is still a following for MvC2, despite Ultimate MvC3 being out. So even if you don't like the cabinet, you got a good boardset.

I always liked the side art on these original Dynamo-housed Street Fighter cabs.

Interesting also that on the original SF, the strengths of the punches and kicks go from strongest to weakest when read left to right, as opposed to the now-standard weakest to strongest order adopted with SF2 going forward.

Kyle

The 18-in-1 is notorious for being very susceptible to breaking. ask FrizzleFried if you don't believe me.

besides the multi CPS 2 there's also a multi CPS 1 board if you're looking for other games. it is just a flaky as the other board.

That dynamo cabinet you have there is a dedicated Street Fighter 1. Capcom a 2 versions of the cabinet the C shaped version used two large pneumatic buttons instead of 6.
