I'm sure there's a huge plethora of games sitting in a storage shed, a garage or hell even your basement that you want to restore and you just don't/won't do it. In fact this might even be a game you love - but you still can't get the mojo to do it.
Game Title:
Mine is a Hypersports
Why?
The sides are absolute crap from water damage. The side art and CPO are toast as well. The right thing (for me to do) is to cut new sides for it and apply new side art. Sadly, as easy as this project is I just can't find the mojo to do it. But yet I spent the day customizing guns for my MAME cab.

Tempest, thought it was a monitor problem. Everything I read points me in the direction that its the board giving me havoc. Boards being sent for repair soon hopefully. Also have to repair a corner of the cabinet. Was converted into a Twin Cobra originally when I acquired it back in 2005.

Any pics?
(request coming from someone trying to salvage a Tempest as we speak)

I've had a 2nd 720 in storage for about 6 months. Have all of the art, vinyl, T-Molding, and a bunch of spare parts.

For years I've been wanting to do a perfect 720 restore, but I just haven't gotten the "bug" to want to get started. Sometime soon though...

My Gorf has been sitting idle since September. I am waiting for warmer months, because the paint I bought was expensive and I want to do it right the first time. I dont like painting in the cold.

My dedicated JrPac because im hoping one day Rich will get around to making the artwork for it. Actually I put off restoring all my games because I simply dont have the time to do it. I have piles of artwork, everything to restore most of my games so maybe one day I will get on them and knock them out.

Wild Western- finished painting a Taito cab, I still need to do some touch ups to the side stencils were I messed up peeling it off and still trying to find all the parts to bulid it.

Qbert - needs cab work, paint, I have all new art ready to go just haven't got to it

Black Hole. Sys 80, grounding mods, going to do full cabinet repaint...it's going to be as challenging as anything I've done so far and some.

Capping the Moon Patrol cocktail monitor. It's in our guest room, and was used as a table for suitcases for about 7 months straight...

All of them...

Lack of Space
Lack of Time
Lack of Money

Sounds like a game that should just be parted out...

I've been putting off restoring my Burgertime for a few years. 1) it looks decent as-is 2) it is from a local arcade so I'm a little unsure if I should restore it at all and 3) it will be a pretty involved restoration since it will be a detailed restencil job. I think I'll probably do it eventually though.

My Centipede cabaret. At first I thought it was a monitor issue. Not the case. Then I needed a fuse cap for it, still didn't work. Now I'm hearing about a 'bridge rectifier'? Like I know what that is!

The game's lucky I love it! Hopefully, it will work sooner than later.

Computer Space.

I have fixed at least 10 other games before completing that one.

I have redone the harness, replaced bulbs, put in a new PS, repaired the B+W TV, and replaced caps on the boards. I have a starfield, and some garbage, as well as what appears to be a resetting issue. I know of another local one, and I have access to its boards for swapping/troubleshooting. Just havent gotten around to it yet.

I think I put it off because:
a. It looks just as cool not working.
b. I really don't have much desire to play the game.
c. Its not in my arcade, it's in my living room.
