Black Knight 2000 pinball prototype. Came very close to one but it wasn't mine for the taking. Playfield layout is the same as the production model but the artwork on the plastics is different. There was a label inside the backbox that said something about it being a market research unit and the ROM labels said "PROTO". Gameplay was the same as the production units.

Missile Command II

What was Missile Command II going to be like? Anything like SMA, or way different?

I would like to have Marble Madness II, but with trackballs. The joysticks seemed weird to me when I played it at CAX.

There are some design documents on Scott's web site detailing what the concept was. In a nutshell, it would have been a 2 player game.

They did some focus group testing of the game. The second link that I provided goes to the focus group comments document posted on Scott's site.

The two I always wanted would be a Battlezone Bradley Trainer and a Duramold Sinistar. Bradley Trainer looks cool because it reminds me of the UCOFT and MCOFT days.

That's pretty cool and in itself is rare as hell, but it's not the same as the original Missile Command II which never got released, it was simutanious head-to-head 2 player and I think a KLOVer managed to get one board working.

Nightmare & Teeter Torture

Nightmare was fun to play, yes that would be cool if it could make a return again this year!

Nightmare was in a modified Tron cabinet, used the same controls even...

My pick: GCC's Nightmare

Teeter Torture was a really fun one, too. The graphics were simple but game play was a lot of fun and very challenging. Hoping to see that again at CAX this year too
