If you could have any of the extreme low run/prototype/MIA games that have existed, which ones would you want?

Me:

- Bouncer
- Teeter Torture
- Marble Madness II
- Turbo Sub
- NY Warriors (if it really existed in coin op form)
- Antartic Adventure (same as above)
- Fire & Forget II (ditto)
- Crazy Otto

Marble Madness 2 sounds intriguing, but most games that were never released "sucked" and don't have a lot of appeal...

You're not the first one to make that claim about MM2, but I'd love it just for the bragging rights! :D
Same goes for Beavis and Butthead <huh huh!>

Defender is cool, but I'd much rather have a proto Defender with the Star Wars arts on it. Very cool.

+1!

I recently came across some late 70's era grade school papers (art, etc.) in a box in the attic that my parents had saved for many years and then finally ended up with me.

Some of it was, of course, multiple drawings of Tie Fighters and X-Wings inspired by Star Wars. Reminded me somewhat of the Defender prototype artwork (but crappier, of course.)

I am a huge Beavis & Butthead fan, so I would have to say Beavis and Butthead :)

Last Starfighter

I know we're talking about actual prototypes, but..

I've found plans for the Last Starfighter cabinet, and there's a PC based game you could run in it. I've thought - would it be worthwhile to build the cabinet someday? Only thing I can see to do with it would be as a MAME cabinet. It would be a conversation piece at least.

You realize that it's already been done, yeah? Brett, the dude that just left because someone pissed him off, built one for somebody last year. That's at least the 2nd one I know of. Still would be cool.

I think I saw pictures of that one? ..but I wasn't sure what whoever did with it. I guess I'm saying, it has no meaning to me, as I never got into the movie, and who needs a giant movie prop replica when you already collect this stuff, so...I could see it being a unique cabinet for a MAME project.
