What is everybody working on right now ?

After much procrastination , I finally pulled the Sanyo out of my DK and in the middle of a cap kit and changing a few transistors . Which means I'll be playing DK again soon !

So what project are you trying to finish ?

This one.

Tonight I applied a layer of Polycrylic to the kick panel, in preparation of reinstalling the coin door in a few days. I've began to reassemble the coin door, but I'm charging my dremel to clean up some of the internal parts and coin return buttons with the wire bit.

I still have to clear coat the sides, and completely redo the CPO. The expense of the CPO and the time it will take to create art is keeping me from it. That and there are a lot of wires to unhook and replace. I have a stripped and empty cab in the garage that I have no idea what to do with though.

In the process of building an adapter for my B&K 470 to fix a heater to cathode short in my Operation Wolf monitor so I can get that sucker going...

All of them. Just about everything in my garage is a project right now. I only have three games that are done and I can turn on and play. I sold some working finished games and bought some projects for some reason?

Tekken 3 cab needs monitor capped.
I need to order the CPO for my dedicated MK project I picked up.
I also need to make a CP for a hacked up TMNT cab I picked up.
Finish putting together my Neo-Geo MVS cab.
Finish MAMEOX cab.
Put my Sky Target board back in the cab and test.
Finish fixing 2 chassis I need for my sit-down Road Riot.
Test spare chassis in 33" Showcase cab.
Repair chassis in Sega STV cab.
Troubleshoot Sega Turbo cockpit.

:(

My Space Duel is nearly finished. Just need to do a little paint touch up. All the wood flaws are fixed and its as clean as a whistle. Next will be to finish the GORF. Then my Centipede CT. Then my Asteroids. And finally, my Pac Man if I run out of things to do, which is highly unlikely. I should be done by the time the world comes to an end in 2012.

All projects finished but one. Still have to get a computer for mame in my extra cab. moooooahhahahaha

i have a PS rebuild kit to install in my Gorf. hopefully this will fix my sound and other voltage issues. if not, i'll be looking for a t/w audio amp board.

then i have a cap kit to put in a K4900 in my Neo Geo.

then i have some cleanup work to do on a Scramble before i sell it.

then i get down to the real project of putting together my Time Pilot '84 (in a Japanese convert-o-cab like the KLOV picture,) including stripping out the old harness and PS, installing a JAMMA harness and ac electrical system, putting in a second button, installing a marquee light (cab has none,) building a new lower coin door out of something, replacing the missing cabinet base, and maybe piecing together a cap kit for the really funky monitor.

and after that, a Bosconian rebuild project. whoo-hoo!

I have a 60 in 1 to finish. I need to work on the cab then paint it. already capped the monitor and it's wired already.

Jrok williams multigame. I have everything now. Well except the new stencils that are out now.

after that, I need to restore my hyper sports.

i have to finish 3 60-1's
finish reinforcing the sides on krull prep and paint it.
install new tmolding on a pac and ge the monitor working

and a handfull of others that i have started

Besides refinishing my basement, I'm currently making an adapter to replace the SRAM in my Joust with an NVRAM.

I've been trying to do as much electronics type stuff as I can during the winter, since it's too cold out in the garage to do any work on the cabs right now. I've got the big stuff done already though, like both monitors recapped, boards repaired etc. so I'm hoping spring gets here soon!

1) Simpsons restoration project: I need to get my ass in gear and get that coat of lacquer on the sides so I can apply my new side art.

2) Pole Position cockpit: I just put on new edge connector housings and pins and that will hopefully solve some power problems. After that I will try to get the board running (yeah yeah I know).

3) Q*Bert: This one has been going on for waaaaaaay to long. At this point I can't really do the cosmetics of painting due to the cold, but I did get the monitor repaired finally with a new flyback and I think my soldering skills would finally allow me to replace the crappy sockets on the main pcb.
