What pinball game is this?

It looks like a Tempest Mini.

Huh, so it is. I just called the guy and bought it. I'll be picking it up in a bit....unless he doesn't honor his word of course. :)

Thanks Tom for identifying the thing for me. I posted the ad as a joke but ended up bringing the thing home. Karma for you except it won't let me. When I can I will!

And here's some better pics:

I never had one of these little guys before. What is it? A mini or a cabaret? Or is that the same thing?

The same thing. The Tempest mini that you now own is one of the more desirable ones, since it has a 19" monitor. Very good especially for someone who's limited on space and doesn't want one of the URs in their game room. They made 25,112 URs and 2,176 of that little guy.

Looks like it's in good shape.

Oh, and another thing to know about minis: plenty of folks will value them as worth less than the URs. But, when push comes to shove, people usually ask more $$$ for them. :D

Interesting. Thanks for the info....I was very surprised to find the 19" monitor crammed in there. It is very clean and plays blind. Oh, and the spinner goes brbrbrbrbrr. It won't be a keeper I don't think since I already have the upright. What would you suggest as a value on the thing?

Tempest is by far the worst game i have ever owned.

congrats on your pickup

Um, thanks.

I'll take it...if you pay shipping....

@#!*% , that's nice ! What a blurry-dark picture can lead to...

Yeah, there's no way I would have even bothered to call about this pic:

If Tom hadn't told me what it was. The guy listed it as a pinball because he also has a pin for sale (which is what was $500). It's a High Roller Bally pin in pretty awful condition. I passed on that one.

Thought he was like my dad, who refers to pretty much everything that accepts a quarter as a pinball machine.

Nice find!

Arcade Shop sells a replacement bushing set for $10 - I put one in mine and it works great:

So if it was the pin that was $500, i'm guessing you got a 'non-working' machine for less, in the neighborhood of $100? Probably even less, you seem to get all the best deals !!! Like this one for example:
http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=179743

If I had to put a value in its current 'plays blind' condition, I would say $200-$250.
If you can get the monitor working, probably $400+. If you also got the monitor working and did a part out :( I would say $200-$250 for the monitor, $100 for the PCB, and $100-$200 for everything else....

Working, anywhere from $500-$900, depending on physical condition. Yours looks nice.

Non-working? $250 maybe...

Anyone else seeing this?? Maybe a stretch but look beyond the hair color and Cameron may be Jehuie's long lost sibling....

Oh man, back in the day when I had brown hair and was younger I used to get people stopping me on the street to tell me I looked like him. I even had a couple people ask for my autograph. Now...not so much. Once in a while someone will say "Hey, you look like that Cameron guy....only older". Really makes my day.
