Father-in-law redid the bottom of the cabinet but now what? Bondo and sand, but what's the best way to match up the top and bottom? One has a laminate and the other isn't. Thanks!

Is the bottom flush with the laminate? If you strip the laminate and the bottom is flush, that will be noticeable when you go to put new laminate on. You may want to relaminate over the old laminate if that is the case, but then you will have a T molding issue. Maybe you can get a wider T molding if you go this route.... I am not sure on all of the sizes available.

There is a gap between the bottom and to laminate. So, next question...what is the best way to remove the laminate?

Paint the new bottom black and consider it your added patina. Will look cool with the black elements from the logo.
