What ms pac man side art is this?

Without looking, I'm guessing it's the "slutty" Willis Ms. Pac-Man you're talking about...

There's a local place that has a Jr Pac-Man with this sideart. Here's a crappy cell phone pic. You can see it was made for converting a Pac-Man cab, since the artwork has the right contour along the edge. It was probably alot cheaper for ops to get this artwork and possibly a bootleg Ms Pac board to convert their old Pac-Man's ;)

Somebody here, I can't remember who made a multi Pac and used that type of artwork. I think It looks great. If I was doing one, that would work for me.

I wouldn't assume it did. They probably didn't care all that much. :D

I don't think anyone cared that much back then. I know that as a kid I didn't care what the machines looked like. As long as the controls worked properly and the monitor was reasonably sharp and bright, I was happy. Caring about that stuff mostly starts and ends with collectors that have these machines in their homes.

I can't believe that art looked good to ops even back in the day

It wasnt about what looked good to us it was about what we could get and at a good price. Willis CPO's were some where in the range of 1/4 the price of factory CPO's. For instance. I recall Defender plastic overlay's costing $249.99 from CA Robinson in the early 80's. The Willis part, maybe $50.00 from Wico.

Besides, no one cared what games LOOKED like back then. Even the most beat up piece of s*** would earn as well as the super clean game.
