I don't know why people continue to ask these questions. Why does it matter? Any 19" standard-resolution monitor will work. Game manufacturers put in whatever was available at the time they made the game. Sometimes the demand was so high that one monitor company couldn't keep up, and other manufacturers were used in the same game.

I've seen Afterburner's with K7000's and Afterburners with K4900's. I doubt that was all that were used...

Not getting pissy, just curious. I can understand those who want original joysticks and artwork, because it's part of the game experience, but monitors are swapped out all the time, and most of the time, the "original" has so much burn-in it's not worth the time of tracking one down just to say it has a "stock" monitor...

what monitor was stock in a After burner?

Not that it matters at this point but your answer depends on which cab and where it was built. After Burners built by Dynamo in the US would have had K7000's in them from factory. Cabs built over seas would have had the Nanao in this thread.

But like mod said, any CGA monitor will work.
