K7000's are pretty nice monitors. Only issue I have with them is that they are VERY poor at handling transitions from dark to light screens and vice-versa. So you end up with a noticeable blooming effect. If it bothers you, you can't un-see it once you do. If you can ignore it, then it's not a big deal.

I'm typically anal about everything. I must have amassed the skill to not notice this anymore. I would venture that it's in the filter cap though.

the K7000 has the luxury of having probably the most intelligence imaginable for how to fix it, and the most accessible parts availability of any monitor model. or as I describe it, the Chevy 350 smallblock of monitors. they're relatively simple to fix, but when you have a problem one, it'll be a problem.
