Finally got my monitor out of my ms pac. This is the first monitor that I need repairing, so I'm not 100% sure what type it is. Is this a WG4900?

Also, I noticed this stuff around some of the caps. Is this anything I should be worried about, or was it just a leaky cap? (The cap that's kinda pointing towards the camera, and has the white wire next to it. There's some brown stuff next to it)

Wells-Gardner 19K7900 (k7000 series).

It has been capkitted recently because I see tons of brand new capacitors.

That is not leakage from capacitors. That is dried glue that Wells-Gardner uses to secure some capacitors from breaking loose during shipment from the factory.

Looks like it still has it's original flyback.

Cool, thanks for the reply. Any reason why this would be taking about 10 - 15 minutes to start up and even so the picture looks super faded? I thought this was a G07 (again, new to most of this still), and it would need a cap kit; but once I got the thing out I also noticed that the caps looked pretty new. I'm lost at this point as to why it still would be taking so long to start and never really getting a solid picture.

Just because the monitor chassis has been capped, it might need to have the tube rejuvenated. (special tool) Also, the chassis might be adjusted improperly. I can't tell you how many monitors I've repaired that come in with the color guns all wonked out and improperly set.

I see. Well, is there anything I can try now to see if it'll work? I have it plugged back in and running, but now nothing is showing on the screen. I only really hear the hum of the power supply. Should I be hearing anything from the monitor (a low hum...or anything?). Anything I can do to verify it isn't "problem x" will help.

you should be seeing "neck glow," or a low orangish glowing right at the base of the neck on the tube between where the neckboard connects and the purity rings.

if you don't see neck glow then you either don't have power to the monitor at all, or there's something wrong with the chassis that's not allowing power to get to the tube.

K7000's are notorious for having failing original flybacks [the big black thing under the metal support on the left side when looking from the back; has two knobs marked "SCREEN" and "FOCUS".] it's quite possible yours finally kicked the bucket.
