Pray it's a 7400 as they look really similar.
I find the pictures on these to be pretty good actually. Maybe just because they are newer.

so the tag on the neck board says
wgm2774-u0gs15j
054a7401-008

is it possable that the chassis is a u2000 and the neck boads be a 7400? looking at pics of both the chassis looks like a u2000 (by the placment of width coil and stuff) the serical number on the chassis doesn't match the one on the monitor frame or the tube so it isn't the original one.

The markings show that it is a 27" 7400 monitor. From my experience the chassis board is virtually identical to the U2000 and U5000. I think you have a 7400.

For those who can't figure it out:

Yes, the WGMxxyy label is the best bet, with xx as the size (25" or 27") and the yy as the model:

74 = K7400
75 = K7500
20 = U2000
50 = U5000

But there is another way. The label on the main chassis (in this case P717) is also an indicator:

P763 = K7400
P793 = K7500
P717 = U2000
P738 = U5000

The neckboards are pretty much interchangeable (P719's) so you can't always go off of that.

There is most likely another label to the left of the P717 label that has the actual chassis model on it. I'm betting on U2000...

I recommend a full cap kit.
But try replacing C117,c115 and C107 first.
to restore the powersupply.

Measure the ohms at TP202 B+ to ground.
If low ohms to ground
Then check if Q704 the HOT is shorted?
If so remove the HOT and check the voltage
at TP202 or at the jumper coming out of PS.
use Ac bulb to test the PS if needed.
Good Luck!
