I want to know because, yes, mine is broken and I need to glue it again. (Tried cleaning and it broke on the (badly) glued break already in there.

It looks like a hard plastic to me, but what kind (important to select what glue to use).

Thnx

PS yes I've seen the repro's, but I can't invest the money at the moment.

Here in the U.S.A. you can go to Homedepot and buy plastic epoxy which consists of two syringes that you mix together. The correct amount is crucial otherwise it won't set up hard enough. Forget trying to use CA, super glue or gorilla snot. They simply haze the plastic and don't hold for shit anyway.

one option, heat up the tip of a flat head screwdriver (a smaller one)

until its red!, and carefully fuse the the pieces back together, this should go without saying, but do it on the inside where it wont be seen

When I still had a Judge Dredd, I fixed my eagle topper with the same plastic epoxy that Deadly mentioned, worked perfectly and still looked great when I sold the game years later.

Apply the epoxy carefully to try and keep the "overflow" at the back of the seam. Also try to clamp for drying, and leave it sit for a full 24 hours so the Epoxy really has a chance to set. You can also strengthen further by epoxying "helper" plastic to the back, bridging the crack. I've used that trick numerous times (on other items) with great success.

Thanks for the tips guys.

I first gave a Hard Plastic glue a try and it actually worked very decent.

Of course you can still see the crack, but it's not too bad.

The glue seemed to be very strong indeed. Took 48 hrs. to dry completely.
I hope it will hold with all the vibration it will have to take ;)
