Well, I've been cataloguing all of my paperwork (manufacturer-released and otherwise), and cross-checked them against what is currently available for download/viewing on ArcArc.Xmission's Manuals or CrazyKong's Dipswitch/Pinout pages. I found that I have quite a few that aren't currently available.

So, that got me wondering: What manual/schematic/info would you like access to that is not currently available? Perhaps you are trying to complete a project, restore a hellcade, or just fix something that just broke.

I'm sure a lot of us who've been in the hobby for quite a long time have a good collection of this stuff. Perhaps someone will see your request and help you out with some scans, or possibly even your own original copy of the manual.

Your request need not be limited to arcade games, but can include monitors, redemption games, pinballs, vending machines, or other gameroom-related items.

Please do not use this thread as an opportunity to request to buy or offer to sell original manuals for your games. You can do that in the For Sale/Wanted forums. If someone offers to send you one for free, great.

In fact, if you are in the habit of tossing manuals or paperwork you find in cabs that are parted out, destroyed, or just don't match anything you have, I'll be glad to pay the postage for you to send it to me for inclusion with all the others I have.

I want this thread to be a free exchange of help for others who need it. Let's use it as such...

Schematics for Magic Sword or Black Tiger. Those pcbs would be a lot easier to understand with some guidance!

Schematics:

Atari Audio II (newer 1986+ version)

For what specific game? A lot of the Atari games has these schematics included with the schematics for the game...

Promax/Wei-ya/Eygo/Huai replacement monitor chassis schematics & manuals.

Jen Shinn replacement monitor chassis schematics.

I have a crapload of monitor manuals/schematics to go through also, and I know a few aren't currently on A.A.Xmission, but I don't think those are included. I will let you know if I do run across some, though.

They don't ship any info along with the chassis when you buy one?

No, none of the replacement "universal" monitor chassis come with any manuals or schematics that I am aware of.

They must've learned that from Wells-Gardner...

i would like to get the schematics for the Toei monitor in a Mr Do.

One of the monitor things I have is a 'Toei 19" Color Monitor - Display PCB Schematic'. Don't know if it's the same thing.

It sas a nickel-sized hole in the very bottom center, which affects a part or two in the schematic, but if it applies to your monitor, you may be able to fill in the missing info for future generations...

I'd like a final lap 2 manual - or at least what the 8 bank dip switches are for. I've seen the final lap manuals, but it has no info on dips.

Hmm. I have the Owner's Manual and Schematic Package for the first Final Lap, and the PCB parts listing has a 8-postion dip switch bank listed, but neither says anything about it.

You coul try switching them on one at a time and seeing if anything changes in the game, or trying different combinations...

i will at some point. i kinda think they might be an id for linking multiple cabs, or at least a couple of them. Was hoping one might allow you to change the settings for the brake pedal from off to pot to switch. I'll see what happens when i get a chance to fiddle with them again.

thanks
