a local pizza shop when i was a kid was valle pizza in pike creek/newark de. We would ride our bikes there in the early 80s to get cheese fries, cherry coke, pizza, and play games. They had 3 games: paperboy, commando, and a 3rd i dont remem bc it was always broken! It was the first place i ever played pb and commando. :)

There was a CC's pizza down the street from me that closed a few months back, they had 3 crusin games linked, an ultracade, and a few prize games.

in the 80's there was an Angies pizza neer me that had a midway cocktail with arkanoind for 10 years or so.

There is a maries pizza near my work that has a 20th anniversary ms pac / galaga and about once a year they change there pin to a new one.

every pizza place I go into now either has 1 game or 1 pinball, some of my favorite pizza places have a couple. One place near me has revenge from mars, galaga/ms pac, GT 2005, and a neo geo 4 slot with BBstars, puzzle bobble, sam show 5 and metal slug 3.

Another pizza place thats good but 30 mins away has a attack from mars and medievil madness

every Godfather's locally had games... i remember going with my parents to the one in East Bremerton because it was nearest place to home (45 minutes away on Bainbridge Island) that had pizza my mom liked.

i distinctly remember both Gorf and Phoenix there and possibly a Ms. Pac. they always had at least.

the Pietros in Poulsbo (which my mom hated) also had a few games, but i didn't really go there until i was in high school and could travel with friends. they had an Arkanoid of some variety as well as an Altered Beast that we played through several times.

Yeah pretty much all pizza shops back then had at least a few games.

In Waldorf MD, there was a shop called Pizza Square that had a row of 6 -7 games. I recall Defender, Centipede, Galaga, PacMan, Ms.PacMan, Frogger, and Astro Invader in specific.

The Waldorf Pizza Hut was the only place I ever saw a cocktail Dig Dug.

A little restaurant in Bel Alton MD whose name was apparently "PIZZA SUBS EAT" (at least that's what the sign said), had three games at a time. Over the years they had PacMan, Ms.PacMan, Vanguard, Centipede, Tron, Galaxian, Carnival, and Atari's b/w driver Monte Carlo.

Kyle

Chat and Chew in Elkton (at the Big Elk Mall) had several cocktail table games in the early 80s. I can remember at least one of them being Donkey Kong.

It would be easier to name a pizza place that didn't have video games (until the pizza hut express' came out). :D

A while back a Pizza Hut that was in Aston PA had a Punchout, Ninja turtles pinball game, Nintendo red tent, A jukebox, and something elese that slips my mind at the moment.

Yep BITD almost all of them had them in my area. Hell most pizza places now still have them. BITD the pizza place arcade I frequented most was pizza hut. It was walking distance from my house so it was pretty convenient. Although many pizza places in my area are currently pick up/delivery only, the places that do have eat in all pretty much have some games. All the round table pizzas in my area have a few games. Ciro's pizza has some games.

i vaguely remember that pizza hut, went to penn state delco my freshman year of college, 1989-90.

Straw Hat Pizza had one of those on the wall dart games, Peter Piper had Space War, Pong Tank, Biplane, and various other early games I didn't play.

As with everyone else, pretty much every mom & pop place growing up had at least one in there. Ironically the most memorable for me was after my freshman year of high school, summer of 1994, I went back to NY to spend the summer w/ my best friend in Hyde Park and one of the first things out of my friend's mouth was "dude, we gotta go to the pizza place, they have this really weird street fighter game". We went there and it was what I now know as either the Rainbow or Red Wave bootleg of SFIICE.

The ironic part of it being memorable is that I was stoned so frequently that summer I can't remember which one it was and have no idea what the name of the pizza place was. I know the Guile handcuffs glitch was in it and remember the start button character change, but zero beyond that. The people I hung out w/ that summer were as stoned as I was so they don't remember what the name of the place was either.

Remembering it was the catalyst for putting together the multi-bootleg SF cabinet I have so it works out in the long run, but I'd love to figure out what the name of the place was.

Most pizza places by my house still have games. Off the top of my head, there's a Cecil Whittaker's in South County that has an SvC Chaos cabinet, Rush 2049, and a No Good Gopher's Pinball. Fortel's usually has a pretty good selection of games as well. I know the Fortel's in Kirkwood had Cactus Canyon a few years ago. Imo's in Kirkwood has a pinball machine usually as well which I think are now newer Sterns, although they had Medieval Madness a few years ago.

Now back in the day I can definitely recall the Pizza Hut on Tesson Ferry in South County having a vs. Slalom with the ski's.

Every pizza place I can think of had them back in the day, many still do today. Some Pizza Huts still have the Nintendo "tents", but the games are all JAMMA stuff now.

My favorite pizza place was Godfather's Pizza, since it had a Mario Bros. and I would try to get there at least once a week to play. I sure wish I could have grabbed that exact game for my collection (it was long, long gone when I started collecting).

About 4 half years ago I saw some arcade games and Pinball machines in a local Pizza here in washington state. But the sad thing was they had a console part that had like 5 of each ps2, and X-box

Kids are not going too get money from there Parents too play these other games when these newer consoles games are there. It was a very sad day.
