I'm looking into getting some furniture sliders for my games. The game room has the commercial carpet which is pretty slick but I'd like all the games to slide out easier.

I need about 27 sets of 4....hoping to buy bulk rather than individual packages at Lowe's. Egay has sellers selling lotsa sets but they're doing the .01 listing price with the shipping costs being what I'd pay retail....and no, they won't combine shipping.

Any suggestions. For those not using casters...what sliders do you guys use?

this is my friends donkey kong but I believe her shoes are prada

dan....step away from the photoshop. :D

I'll check harbor freight. Was really hoping just to find someone with a bucket full-of-em. I'm trying to lessen my carbon footprint one step at a time. Less packaging ya know.

It's these kinda things I think about when taking my Dodge 3/4 5.7 liter HEMI to work 40 miles each way.

I swear I didn't do that. friend that I sold that cab to thought it was funny to use some fruity paris hilton/ photobucket promo that was going on to create that monstrosity. It's just been sitting in my email inbox for way too long. I really should have deleted it.

I have the furniture sliders (4 inch) under my Track & Field and it slides out with out much effort at all. I'm looking for more at a good price too.

If I find some, I'll post here.

Were almost 100 between the 2 of us. Your all going down the same road so just deal with it! Actually were not a lot older than you guys were a lot wiser and didn't anybody ever tell you to respect your elders. Children are to be seen not heard so shut the F**K up LOL

That's what I'm gonna start telling all you guys when you bring up the old jokes!

get a carbon offset. that way you can be green and pollute. :p

but, do you need to have a set of sliders for each game? they work awesome, but they're real easy to just throw under a game, unless you're cramped on space, anyways.

I got a set of EZ Moves from Sherwin Williams for about $20 that are just unreal at moving games.

You slide these pads under the corners and the games are very easy to move -- except for the 500+ lb Gauntlet Legends but I can still move it around myself.

The BattleZone and these movers I can move one handed -- not kidding.

I've since replaced the leg levelers on my games with Todd's vinyl coated ones and that works too. They make it much easier to move the games than the standard leg levelers but these EZ Moves are easier yet (just much more slick surface area to slide on the carpet).

Whoa, you commute with that beast? Damn!

HF sliders work good and are cheap. Makes my APB manageable on the Edgarcade's concrete floor. For screw in levelers, I found these:

Before I saw Todd's post. Todd's are cheaper by a bit when you buy the same quantity, just doesn't come with nuts.

I bought a bunch from Matt Osborn years ago and just ran out. Luckily I saw him mention a place that still sells them...

They are nickel plated with a very durable nylon bottom. I use them on concrete and carpet and they have lasted a long time.

$0.75 a pop and they ship UPS Ground and don't gouge you with any handling charge.

All my games have new levelers w/ nylon on the bottom. I just finished my basement. I don't want any rust marks on my new carpet. :) My pins have "Pin Footies" Under them, they slide out really nice to work on them if needed.
