What kind of tape on yoke wedges, etc.?

I'm doing a tube swap on a K4600 and I have two questions:

1) how should I secure the rubber wedges to the tube? Tape? What kind? The current tape almost looks like medical tape but it's getting loose. I understand I may have to adjust them but ultimately how should they be secured?

2) same question for the inside of the yoke where the little metal strips (magnet?) are placed. One of them came loose due to old tape and I'd like to put it back exactly where it was before installing the yoke.

Thanks

I vote for the Kapton/plolymide tape. Used widely in electronics manufacturing. Stable at a high range of temperatures and it's an electrical insulator. It's not that expensive and a roll will probably last most people a lifetime. And as Elektronix said, it was likely used originally on those wedges.
