Super SF2. If the topper is still around for that cab, you would have a pretty prized cabinet for jamma fighters and brawlers.

Thanks, I actually didn't make the mental connection that SSFII meant it was a Big Blue so your post was helpful too. What is the going price for one of these, minus topper?

Minus topper? If i wanted one (with generic CPO and working monitor) I'd still shell out $250 without a board in it.

However, Tilt was recently having their annual sale and had fully working MvsCapcom II kits inside the full-size big blues (not the SSF2 style) for like $295.

Your typical big blue is on the 2-600-ish scale. If everything else is excellent I'd put it in the upper mid range of that. The downfall being, who the hell has a spare marquee topper for this cabinet?

I don't have much real world experience with this particular big blue. Does it look like the topper was bolted on? It wasn't ripped out or anything? No one damaged the wood taking the thing off?

Edit: yikes! I was afraid of pricing too low and getting slammed for it.

I've seen the large marquee topper version before... I can't recall where though.

Are these brutes much heavier than the average cab?

Mine is one of the heavier stand up cabs I've had to move. It's really awkward as well since it is pretty tall (mine is a dedicated SSF2, but the large marquee isn't a separate topper but one solid piece). The tall part you obviously won't have to worry about. They are also pretty deep and stick out further than any of my other cabs.
