I got this cab for free and its missing some parts. I would like to know what kind of cab it is and what game it was originally. Also, if someone can link me to a picture of this cab I would like to see what the control panel looks like. The control panel assembly slides completely out. If anyone know where I can buy a new CP and assembly I would be interested because this one has water damage. The guy I got it from thinks it was a Lethal enforcers cab last. It is set up for JAMMA and has a 25" monitor The monitor works great! Thanks all.

You can see a Capcom sticker but I dont think it was a Capcom game.

Fisrt, thank you for your help. Second, I guess I can safely say I am going to MAME this one due to lack of space in my GR.
Who made these cabs and how can I tell what game might have been in it?
Most importantly, where can I find another CP assembly or atleast the CP itself? Thanks.

P.S. - I also need the lower marquee retaining bracket as seen in the pic. Any ideas?

Dynamo, I beleive...

That way my thought also. Did Dynamo make Z back cabs. That Pull out drawer is DA BOMB for MAME units. For the control panel if you are handy you can make one out of wood, or more than one as others have done. It looks like it had an oversize control panel on it at one time. Piano hinge fastens it in the front and lock down clip parts are available from many folks here.

I have looked for 2 days at all kinds of different cab pics and I have not found one that is exactly like this one. Some are very close though.
I wanted to see the control panel to have something to go by when Im building it.

"3-KOAM" should be the manufacturer.

A lot of SFII:Champion Edition kits from distributors in my area were installed in these cabinets for operators who'd rather pay to have the kits done.

MAME cab would be good, 60-in-1 would require you to flip the monitor vertically, which might not be possible seeing how big it is. One of those horizontal 19-in-1 boards would work though (but they're alot more expensive)

That cab was probably made be Plateau Inc.
There should be a sticker stating that, as well as a model #
somewhere in the monitor cavity and somewhere inside the coin door.

That cabinet was slightly modified to hold that monitor, since the
original would have had a 19" monitor mounted to a bezel board
so that it could be easily rotated.

The control panel itself would be just a sheet of plywood that would
slide into those grooves on the control panel shelf.
If I remember correctly, a 1/2" sheet of plywood topped with a 1/8"
sheet of plexiglass should be a perfect fit.

There should also be an extruded aluminum piece that would mount to
the control panel that would seal the gap between the control panel top
and the glass monitor bezel.

Here's a pic of the cabinet model with the mono speaker.

All I can find is angle mfg 10/5/93 in th spots you indicated. The monitor does look like it has been messed with, particularly the mounting bolts.
I was going to make a whole new CP and shelf and just make the CP long enough to seal the gap between it and the monitor.
Should I be using MDF for all this?

Plywood would be better. You are going to have cut an angle at the rear and plywood holds up better (in my opinion). Install your joysticks and buttons first and when you think you have a setup you can live with install the CPO.

If you plan on basing the new self on the old one, then it would probably
be best to go with mdf since that was what the old one was made from.

The control panel itself can be made from any material so long as it will
slide into the slots in the cp shelf. It's just a rectangular sheet of wood.

The cabinet I had was made sometime in 91, which would explain the
change from a mono to stereo configuration.

It's possible that the manufacturer changed it's name sometime between 91 and 93.

Thanks all. I got 2 good and free sheets of MDF out of the scrap pile at Lowes today. Nothing better than free.

How's the progress going on this?
I think I found your cab's long lost brother. I'll be picking it up tonight.

Is there any way you can take some pictures of the inside or the marquee area? I don't have the key to the top and I'm trying to figure out how to get in there by drilling it out.
