newbie here exploring their 1st purchase. I picked up what I thought was a dynamo cabinet w/ a neo geo one slot and was cleaning it up today.

I looked at drzero.org which lists the dimensions of dynamo hs-1 as 75"h, 28"w, 36" deep.

This cabinet is none of the above but does look similar w/ the cut corner control panel.
72 1/2" h, 25 1/2" w, 30" deep (not counting the control panel).

Found this in the bottom of cab. So looks like it was once a sega Clutch Hitter.

Has a WG 25K7191 Monitor that sticks out the back some.

Any ideas?

Cab looks like dynamo hs-5. If its slight different, dynamo made custom cabs for people like sega. clutch hitter was a kit. If sega did order a custom cab, I would think an hs1 would have been used.

Its a great cab to have. Replaceable control panels, easy rotate monitor. Wells monitor is also easy to work on.

Thanks for the brochure. Mine doesn't have a pull-out drawer so I assume it is not the hs-2 or hs-5. Will look closer just to make sure it wasn't removed but doubt it. The specs listed on the brochure are for shipping purposes so it is possible the actual cabinet dimensions are less.

The back of the monitor does protrude a bit into the back door.

It is a dynamo hs-1 that someone has crammed a 25" monitor into. If it had its original 19" monitor, it wouldnt be protruding from the back. It may have started life as a clutch hitter. Look at the original knockouts in the metal control panel forclues.

I picked up what was obviously a dynamo made cab last year. Same profile and dimensions as a HS2, but no drawer. Had an atari serial number label on the back. Probably the same deal here. Dynamo made, but sold to Sega or whoever needed them.

I have a data east cab and a konami cab BOTH made by dynamo.

Does your width match mine ? @ 25 1/2".

MadPerry, the control panel has one extra hole (per player) directly to the right of my pictured yellow. No other clues but the back door does have a sega sticker on it.

Thanks for all the help.

Sold it, but yes it did. CP was 23.75 and cab was 25.5

funny you ask that question because the only clutch hitter i have seen locally on craigslist was in a dynamo cab also. i have a couple dynamo hs-1 cabs as well and those are the dimensions. the hs-5 comes with a 25" monitor and are wider and deeper. clutch hitter def had kits too so you will see a lot of conversion cabs out there.

i'd keep it a neo before i restored it to clutch hitter. get yourself a multi cart.

Yea, no intention of making it a clutch hitter. Just wanted to be at least 99% on the cabinet I have. 161-1 already ordered, hopefully here tomorrow.
