What is your most underrated arcade game of all time?

I've only played it in mame but Bullfight is a great game. Good progression of dificulty, and the bull is so random that no two games ever seem the same.

Some cool ones mentioned here, including Fantasy and Pengo.

I'm going to add to the list Willow and My Hero. Those were pretty cool, and you never got to see them enough.

Bowling

My vote would be for Bowling Alley. The graphics couldn't get much more rudimentary than this game, but my girlfriend and I play it probably more than any other game, and I don't even like bowling. Having an X-Arcade trackball definitely helps.

An earlier one is Guzzler. It was on a similar Pacman style basis but had some interesting elements to it that made it fun to play.

Cheyenne is another one that does not get a lot of attention when the "classics" are talked about, but it had a lot of great elements to it and was pretty hard.

Another one was Choplifter. It had some really good game play elements, could be quite challenging and was a lot of fun.

Two Tigers with the airplane style controls is another fun one that did not really get a lot of respect back in the day.

I really enjoyed All Points Bulletin(APB). It was fun trying to get the cars to pull over. Although I will also agree with Rampart, great game.

A weekend spent with MAME and this thread sounds like a fun weekend indeed. I think I might do just that.

For my input, the Gals Panic games that were on Super Nova hardware (S-series and 4). When people talk about the Super Nova system, you'll hear a lot about Cyvern and Sengeki Striker (good games, mind you, but they get way more attention than they're worth) and yet these gems rarely get a mention. A lot of people can't get past the "hentai porno game" stigma, but the gameplay is a well-refined Qix variant that sucks you right in. The frantic race to box the monster in off-image without sticking your neck out too far and getting killed is exhilarating.

Rampart was one of those games I can remember playing at the bowling alley growing up. Such a awesome game. Three trackballs! OMGWTFBBQ!!!

Zookeeper.

It gets a ton of love "here" but here isn't like out "there", I had never heard of or saw one at any point of my life until I came "here".

I discovered zookeeper on the Phoenix board and I love it. Great game. Never played it until about 4 months ago. Also an earlier poster mentioned donkey kong 3. That is my second choice after zookeeper. Also just discovered it thanks to the aforementioned pcb. Guess I should have played more varied games in the 80's

Crazy Kong, Love it, but it really gets treated like a scummy bootleg

Also River Patrol. I put so many coins through this it's not funny. Yet, there are NONE, anywhere, period.

Here's another vote for The Glob, a/k/a Beastie Feastie. Fast and challenging. Sort of a cross between Pac-Man and Elevator Action.

And I've always liked Konami's Super Basketball. It was a proud day when I broke 1M on that game. The USA team is impossible.

A lot of people really don't care about Depthcharge or Carnival but they are two of my favorite games. Unfortunately, I do not own either.
