What is your most underrated arcade game of all time?

I don't know how underrated this game is, but I'm sure a bunch of you haven't really played it, or even bothered checking it out.

Sega's Virtua tennis on the NAOMI hardware. We had an arcade that had it like 50 miles from here, it was freaking awesome. It's on the Dreamcast as well and we played the hell out of this game. I don't even really play tennis in real life, it's just an awesome multiplayer game, great controls, everyone has fun playing it, and easily the best tennis game I've ever played. If I ever saw the game up for sale I'd snatch it in a heartbeat.

Virtua Tennis Intro and gameplay

The Glob/Beastie Feastie - by EPOS, great Pac conversion title.

Blast Off - mentioned before, but totally worth mentioning again!

Donkey Kong 3 - like the bastard child of the series, but super good. Addicting and fluid gameplay.

i totally agree with this one..... DEMON by rockola

super rare, super fun 2 player bw vector game with the color overlay. wish these werent so rare, never heard of it before, until i got to play it @ cax a few years back. what a great underrated game!

It's on the 60 in 1 so I imagine many people own it although that would be the easier konami release not the stern release which had a dedicated cab. I guess it's not for the casual player as it's a brutally hard game.

Agree with Rampart and Steel Talons. For a driving game I liked Hot Rod, but almost no one else seems to remember playing that one. The top down 4P version rocked.

I also really enjoy Empire City: 1942, a niche little crosshair JAMMA game, but I never hear of anyone else liking that one.

Hands down this game.

We played this game all night last week and I've never even tried the game before.

Gorf gets my vote. One of the first 'multi-games', cool voice synthesis that mocks you as you play, great cabinet loaded with lights, and an 'advancement/promotion' system that rewards the player as he wins and gets more and more challenging. One of the best.

My vote would go to PENGO. Most people aren't very familiar with it, but after learning how to play most of my friends love it. Plus, it's got Penguins and who doesn't love penguins?

+1 on Pengo. Also, DK3 is a very underrated DK game b/c it's more of a shooter than a platformer.

I'll give another vote to Rampart - lots of cannon action, the mad scramble to rebuild, and eventually someone gets beheaded!

It's not really underrated per se, but I'm also the only person I know who loves Qix.

LeChuck

Chicken Shift - Really great Sente game at the end of the arcade golden age.

Nitro Ball - This game is basically Mercs or Smash TV but inside of a pinball machine. It's pretty awesome.

Cliffhanger Edward Randy - This is a really great 2 player hack n slash platformer where you're basically Indiana Jones since you've got a whip. The action in this game is amazing.

Beastie Feastie - Definitely have to put up another vote for that one.
