Picked this up at a garage sale. Owner said it worked well. For some reason I dont get ANYTHING when I plug it in? Is there any experienced or well advanced tech advise you can give me? I think its monitor related?

No no no no NO NO NO! The problem is you have too much airflow. Don't you know anything? 4-slots in particular do not like airflow.

Well thats what I was thinking. ..

Just posting pics of MVS 4 revamp. the top sides were bad and black. I am lucky the bottoms were not as bad. I am still in the removing parts stage. New MDF sides, refinish of CP and other metal parts and all the other fun will come. I wouldnt say a complete refinish but a revamping for sure.

Nope, not the monitor. You used Windex which is a big no-no. Always try a little bit in an inconspicuous place first. Hopefully you learned something from your experience. Thanks for sharing. :)

I was going to use lemon pledge but it didnt test out per your conspicuous testing!!!..

Hopefully I can continue. I am cutting new sides out of MDF and my damn junk jig saw took a dump. - Nothing like holdups. Its pretty cool though that you can remove the sides one at a time. The bottom parts.. not so much.

looks like a messy divorce to me. ;)

you know what, you did a pretty good job removing the side panel. I got one that had way too much water damage to save. They are a b!tch take apart. Good luck on the resto.
