Its a Go7 in a pole position 1 arcade game.

i can't adjust the color to be correct. all looks green/black but red is there just a bit

I'm thinking it's in my video plug.

but i think i have tried all the combos.

maybe wires or tube, can anybody help.

I'm assuming you've already tried adjusting the color pots on the neckboard? There are two for red.

Start with a rebuild, replacing all caps and the flyback.

Then rejuv the tube...

here is a photo of the problem.

i have tried to adjust all the knobs.

Help.

thanks
chris

your missing red... if you cant adjust it out you hay have cold solder on the chassis or worst case a bad red gun in your tube. At this point id recheck your wiringg and then see if any local klovians have a rejuver you could borrow.

Could have bad resistors or transistors for the red too.

Rejuvs scare me (yeah, I know... they're supposed to be pretty much harmless), so I'd start with a cap kit (always) then check the resistors and transistors that control red. Reflow them first, check again, then remove them and test each one for opens. Check the wire'ng too while you're at it to make sure the red wire is fully connected to both the board and the monitor chassis (check the pins on either side, and check the wire to make sure it's not open anywhere... very unlikely that it is open, but I always check everything.)

You can check the red gun real quick by grounding the pin for it on the back of the neck board, if your screen flashes red, then the gun should be good.
