I bought a conversion cab at a can't-miss price off CL and I'm stripping it down. I figured if the underlying game was a classic of some sort I'd try a restore, but if it was nothing consequential, I'd just put in an earner (since the box is wired compatible with a Neo Geo PCB, and I have an SVC Chaos PCB on hand, and the 25" monitor is in good shape.).

When I got the CPO off, the original graphics beneath appeared. Apparently this was a three-player game where each player had a joystick, jump button, and attack button, and the three characters were called Krush, Buzz, and Snake. I Googled around and checked everything I could think of and found nothing! Does anyone recognize this game? What was it? The cabinet is in really decent shape so I don't want to hack it up if there's a worthwhile restore to be done. It was clean and most everything works.

OK, here is the photo:

Any clues?

Here is the entire cabinet as converted to a Stadium Heroes, in case it jogs anyone's memory:

THANKS!

Did some digging. It was a Brute Force.

Holy crap! That is unquestionably the correct answer! And fast too. I'm really impressed with you guys for the Nth time this week. :)

So... what's the opinion on this one? Looking at its KLOV entry, it's rare as heck but doesn't look like much of a game. A side-scrolling beatemup like TMNT and Double Dragon only less good. I'm strongly inclined to move forward with converting the cab to SVC Chaos and putting it out to earn. This isn't some hidden classic and I just don't realize it, right?
