Tempest cabinet. 1943 was a conversion for existing cabinets (at least I never saw what I would call a dedicated and only recall kits being sold). Not worth $150.00 to me. :)

A 1943 in a Gorf cabinet recently sold here for $150, but it was fully working. I'd say talk him down if you really want it, but its nothing special. That is a Tempest cab and will cost a small fortune to convert it back if thats what your thinking of.

I like the 1943 game but I would put it in another cabinet.

What could be the most likely problem with the sound.

IMHO the cabinet is fugly.

LOL. I've been watching this thing on CL for about a month now. Looks like shit. However, if you like game, buy it for $100-$150.

The sad thing about that pile too, is that IF the guy purchased all the arts to install on the cab, repainted it, and had to buy all new guts and monitor for it, he easily shoved $200-$300 into that cabinet (which is only worth $100).

I equate this to some dipshit kid putting an aftermarket exhaust system, turbocharger, a ground effects body kit, and a huge spoiler onto a 1995 Acura Integra, and then trying to sell it for $9000.

i am in the auto restoration business and I see a LOT of money go into holes that cannot be filled!
But if you love it; then it doesn't matter what the cost.
