I have a TMNT dedicated cabinet that has had a replacement monitor put in. Unfortunately, the monitor sticks out the back of the cabinet so I can't put the back panel on. I would like to put something in that is very close to original, so I can get it sealed up.

Depending on the cabinet you have, you might need a different frame for your K7xxx.

If your cabinet looks like this one (only 1 speaker hole, notice)

Then I have the complete monitor mount frame you need. It's a shelf mount monitor in that cab, not bracket mount.

Well I'll find out when I return home next year. If it won't fit bc of the frame then I'll just throw it into my Primal Rage I'm restoring. The monitor currently in my TMNT is good but I just wanted to throw in a new one. I also just bought a another new 25" Makavision Tri mode monitor to work with as well.

aren't these the machines that had the frames with the wood base?

i've also heard the angled metal frames are the originals (damn these are annoying to have in your midway cabs.

Ok, thanks for the heads up! I will take a look tomorrow and check back with you

Made a mistake. The new monitor just came in and it's a K7400 not K7000

K7400's good shit as long as it works. keep an eye out for drifting brightness/focus.. sign of bad flyback. if you have a bunch of Wincap caps on it, re-cap it. should be golden.

hope the tube isn't a Zenith. Hitachi and Samsung are pretty good. wanna say they used Philips too. anything but Zenith.

I checked today, looks like this is the cabinet I have. Definitely one speaker. The back of the cabinet has the original factory labels from Dynamo. It is a dedicated 4 player TMNT.

It should work. The monitor is brand new never used. I have no clue what the tube is. I'm out of the states. My GF sent the pics.

You are correct sir. Those frames make it a huge pain in the ass to take the monitor out too....

+1 that crap is bolted in, in a hard to get to place. At least the chassis are common enough and you can do a tube swap easily as well. You don't actually NEED a new monitor. If it actually works then just cap and flyback the chassis. Then swap the tube.
