What is the Open Fusible Resistor? What does it do?

How do I find it (and test it, if possible) on my Wells Gardner 4900 series monitor? (It's a 4906 to be exact)

Thanks!!

I'm not too well-versed on older chassis, but a fusible resistor is a resistor specifically designed to blow open rapidly if current through it exceeds a certain limit -- literally a resistor and fuse in one. I couldn't tell you where it is, but once you find it, just lift a leg and check its resistance against its markings. (Odds are, if it's reading open on the highest ohms reading on your meter, it's bad.)
