What is the "name" of the older baseball arcade coin-op game. Pitch actual ball!

Ok, I loved this game as a kid and my kids loved it to at the beach the other week. It is pretty simple, you press a button and it throws an actual ball (wooden?) from the pitchers area and you have a lever in which you move to swing the bat. Then if the ball goes into a certain hole you get out, single, etc.

Does anyone know what this machine is called? It is coin-op.

Then, does anyone know where one might find a used one or is there companies still making these new?

These are called Pitch and Bat machines. They were fairly common during the 60's and 70's. Many different models were produced and you can find pics/descriptions in the International Arcade Museum database.

Pitch & Bats go back to the 40`s. I have a 1956 Williams 4 Bagger project i`ll get to one day. Williams also made 80`s - 90`s ss\versions as well like Pennant Fever & Slug Fest.
