Title pretty much says it all...

I've got a JVL Concorde 2 (looks to have been upgraded from a Concorde 1) that has no picture. Just what I need, one more monitor project. <g>

I generally like to try to pull a manual on what I'm working on before diving in, but ths chassis in this thing does not look like anything I've encountered recently.

13 inch with a Toshiba CRT wired to a VGA plug, but beyond that...

So, I was hoping someone who had worked on these critters might know the make/model of this monitor so I can get working on it...

The unit is functional otherwise, if I plug an external monitor into the video card everything displays just fine, though it does make the games a bit interesting to play... "Look here, touch there..." Bit of a head bender...

Ok, so it is a JVC monitor...

A bit of a teardown and a good deal of cleaning revealed that the monitor appears to be of JVC origin, and the mainboard has the ID "11S31-039A Rev. C2" silkscreened on it...
Toshiba CRT M34KLP22XX

Funny though... it has some front mounted controls much more reminiscent of a Television than a normal arcade (or commercial) monitor...

Anywho... With this bit of additional info, anyone familiar with the monitor?

Symptoms: at power up, get the classic HV crackle but nothing else... No image, no raster, no obvious response to the controls. Appears to have 'neck glow' but real hard to see due to the deep shroud over the neck board.

Main fuse has been verified good, had the boards out for a visual and a good general cleaning.
Inspected for dodgy looking solder joints and such... None obvious.
No obvious bloated or discolored electrolytics... No sign of any components obviously going 'nuclear'... Checked the 'HOT' and most other major trannys... All appear good...

Would appreciate a little general direction from anyone familiar with this particular chassis before I go off on the long form bug hunt and (probably) wholesale recapping.

Thanks;
