Old post, but reviving because for the first time I drove 4 hrs, and didn't buy the game. Craigslist seller posted bad photos but told me the cabinet and artwork were in great condition, only to show up and see the left side sideart was completely trashed. Seller was a nice guy and not a collector, and was actually surprised when I told him I was going to pass (maybe because I said it as soon as I saw the machine). I told him to please let the next person know the game's exact condition before making the driving. The price was good, even for the game having one bad side (the other side was in great shape), but I have enough projects and didn't want another cabinet needing restoration.
Some of you might say I should have asked for better photos before making the drive, but I know that a lot of Craislist sellers will just go to the next person in line before taking/emailing more photos or answering a bunch of questions; I've gotten a lot of games being the second guy in line! I took a gamble and it didn't pay off....for the first time!
