I'm new to this thread and I was wondering if anyone knew what
a 1982 orginal Bagman was worth? in working condition.

I bought one in nice shape for $175 4.5 years ago and resold it for $425 6 months later. I think it's a great game and worth at least $350 in good shape. If it's beat, closer to the $200 mark. If it's mint, closer to $500+.

Pics of mine for condition reference:

I sold a mint one for $250 a few years ago. I sold it on eBay, started it out at 1 cent and had no reserve. I was expecting it to go for a lot more.

I played a few games of Bagman at CAX last year and thought it was pretty fun. I've never seen one pop up locally.

I don't know but I would probably give you one of my lungs for yours. Its been a grail for me since before I realized people could actually own arcade games and have them in their home. Back in '82, Bagman and Super Pac Man were my favorites. Have the Super Pac now but still no Bagman.

Depending on your location you probably have a buyer for it already. I'm in St. Louis, and yes I would like a Bagman also.

$300 for working with average wear. Condition is everything. Mint will get you $400 to $500, rough will get you $200.

Well, I guess you decided not to take any of the advice given in this thread since you listed your game for sale at a price higher than anything recommend in response to your question.

To be fair, he listed the game for sale before he got any responses. I don't personally understand the request soliciting prices if you already know what you want for it, but I have been accused of not understanding "people" on many an occasion.

BTW, I have seen a Bagman being passed around here (Seattle area) a few times over the last few years and it seems to sell for $200 to $250 each time it changes hands...

He actually asked me before listing it here for sale and also before making this post. I take it he didn't believe me or trust me. He originally had it listed on CL or wanted $1000 for it. Yes lol when I heard that! I then told him it was honestly worth between $200 and $400 depending on condition. And yes he pretty much ignored what I said and decided to put it for $600 in case someone really needed it. Why ask if you don't trust other peoples judgements and have a price in mind already my friend. Good luck with your sale. P.S. I am looking for one by the way (Bagman or Super Bagman) but not for $1000. lol

I have been looking around for pics of a dedicated Super Bagman. I saw a flyer (on TAFA?) that supports that there actually WERE dedicated units, but they picture a cab with regular Bagman sideart. In my looking around, it seems that everybody references that Super was just an add-on kit. I have an orange Stern cab with Super Bagman header, CPO, PCB, and the sideart is positioned lower and has the word Super above it. Stern probably used up some Tut cabs or something. Anybody seen these?

I got these pics from vintageamuse last fall:

Super Bagman was definitely an add-on kit. I bought a working boardset last week. It's just a daughter board that plugs right into the original Bagman board (after removing a couple of chips).

I have seen the CP and marquee for Super Bagman, but I have never seen the additional "Super" above the original side art. Another thing to add to my want list, (along with the CP and marquee) although I think the chances of finding any of it is pretty remote.

he has it listed for 600, but maybe he assumes cheapskates will talk him down anyway, so why not start high?

Great, thanks. That's the same cab that I have, which to me, proves that a dedicated was made. Os, why do people keep saying it's just an add-on? Obviously, it was sold as a dedicated and as a kit.

I have a bagman, i paid 150.00 for it rough and non working. I have bought a working boardset, new sideart, and an arcadeshop power supply conversion kit. Monitor is getting repaired/cap kit (4600) and i'm going to have to make a new cabinet for it, new T-molding, a few new bolts to replace the rusty ones, buy paint, etc.

I am going to have about 550.00 in mine by the time i'm done, and that's strictly materials. I'll probably have about 20 - 25 hours into it when it's done, probably ask 700.00 for it.

Dedicated super bagman

Dedicated super bagman machines were produced in limited numbers.

Two different manuals , kit and dedicated were printed. Look on ebay under super bagman to see them.

super bagman kicks ass, its crazy, weird and fun with cool music.
