To answer your thread title, a kick in the balls is more fun than the video game Journey.

Thats cool you got the marquee signed tho!

Ok so here's the story....
2 years ago I bought a restored Journey (the one Chris posted on coinopspace) I may have "forgotten" to tell my wife when I did this. So when she found out I had dropped a significant sum of money on the machine two things kept me from sleeping on the couch.
1) It was hers
2) I get it signed
So I called a friend of mine and when we were back in MN in August Journey was at the State Fair. After a long night of misses.... no signatures. So I did what any sane person would do, brought the marquee to Hawaii. (Game is at my dads in Minnesota)

We already had tickets to the December shows, it was just a matter of figuring out how to get close enough to get the band to sign. We went to the Wednesday show, which was great, and found at that the guitar tech was the same tech our friend knew who was in Minnesota. Trying to catch a guitar tech before a show is not easy, but he said meet me after the show and I can chat. After convincing security that we really were not a problem as they kicked literally every other person out of the arena, we caught up with the tech. Not sure if it was some sympathy for Susan having surgery on Thursday am or that he's just a nice guy but he said he would take care of it.

Susan's surgery went fine, and on Friday I swung by the show to pick up the Marquee. The tech also gave us a set list and some guitar pick's, a nice touch for the "shrine" we will build :)... The guys thought it was awesome, I don't have to worry about sleeping on the couch, and Susan now has an amazing machine signed by her favorite band....

Susan has a ton of 80's band autographs, she (we) doesn't collect autographs to sell. This is so we have a unique and amazing machine to share stories about concerts with friend while we enjoy the machine. I just had to share, it was a fun 6-8 months of planning with one failed attempt... Now I just need to safely get it back to Minnesota!

lotta hospitals where i live.. hell it doesn't even snow in ohio anymore. I just got back from the ER. had a brad nail misfire and explode coming out of the gun. had to get the piece removed from my eye, got a nice abrasion too.

Had an "offer" for Milwaukee, so we'll see...
Either way, I will bring the whole collection together and be building an arcade in 3-4 years... Possibly a Journey Shrine in that arcade lol
