What is it worth? - Nintendo Mario Bros w/ super mario working has "Jumpman" paperwor

I am a newb... ok now that is out of the way. [emoji23]

I picked up this game last year for $400 with the purpose of modifying it into a multicade. Aside from the challenges that will entail, the previous owner pointed out that the adjustments sheet was actually for Jumpman. He said this might be worth some money but that it would not affect his price.

So... do you know if this is worth more because it is intact or should I go ahead and just mod the cabinet.

You have an ultra rare " Donkey Kong converted to Mario Bros " . Don't mame it . There are plenty of crap cabs out there to destroy .

what is up with the zookeeper in taito green cab with zoo keeper art on front.?

CP already has extra holes. Looks like it is a Vs Super Mario installed in a conversion MB. I'm in the don't multi it camp too. Looks really nice, cosmetically.

Yeah, it would be a somewhat involved re conversion - full cp replacement, pcb, marquee, bezel, side art. Anything inside potentially needing replacement?

To answer the OP's original question - Jumpman is just the name that Ninendo game to Mario before he became Mario. That's just a Donkey Kong instruction sheet. Nothing special.

It is cool that it is in tact. The one in my cab is just the bottom 1/4 of the original sheet.

I don't have exact numbers, but whenever a back door comes up on ebay or here, the back sheet is rarely there.or partially there, from what I've seen. Seen some other posts of people's cabs where the back sheet was partial or missing. Maybe it's just one of those things like if you drive a yellow vw bug, then you start noticing all the yellow vw bugs on the road.

From my experience, if the game has a back door, it usually has the instruction sheet still on it.

It's only the ones missing doors or the random doors for sale that tend to miss the instruction sheet... because those people don't take care of the games in the first place.

BTW, I am in the middle of deconverting my DK>Mario>PC10 back to DK. Sold the PC10 kit, got repro CP cut but have an original CP as well, repro art work (CPO, Side, Bezel, Marquee), DK3 harness, vertical mounts. Probably still came out ahead.

The picture I took when I bought it at Freeplay Florida in Orlando. I own 2 games, this one and a Ms PacMan cocktail... 100% original

So the sheet is not that special it seems. Thank you all for your input.
