I didn't see this company posted anywhere yet, so I apologize if it's been seen already.

What do you think of the table this company is making?

I would love to have one as a showpiece. Some of the other products they offer
are novel as well.

Thoughts?

Personally , I think it sucks ass and is insane expensive . An LCD monitor , a 60 n 1 board for 2,000 british pounds which is what $3,500 US Dollars ? No thank you .

If your gonna spend that much , buy some original dedicated cocktails .

I envision a bunch of wealthier young people spilling their lattes on it, and asking if it plays Angry Birds.

Couple of things...

Height: The height seems to be a problem. When I examined the pictures, I could see that the positions the people were in would not be comfortable for anything longer than a few minutes. I'm not sure what 60-in-1 they have in there, but I couldn't imagine a tense game of Street Fighter, or even a longer game of Tetris, while hunched over the table in that position.

Price: According to my calculations at the time of writing this, £1,999 comes to about $3,128. Now I am no expert at this -- in-fact I am not even close to an expert. Yet even I have to believe that these things can be built for much less. I know there has to be some retail markup, but I would not pay that price for it.

This seems to be something more along the lines of "buy it, just to say you have it and show it off"... which I guess is fine if you have the cash, but I don't see it actually being used or played much.

I'm not feeling it.

I looked through the photos and it just looks way too uncomfortable to sit and play for longer than five minutes. It'll turn people into hunchbacks and there's only so many jobs available for a bell ringer. :)

yeah I agree it's price is crazy...I guess I like the style aspect of it. The contemporary look is nice. Probably would be pretty uncomfortable to play on though.

@frizz - i'm thinking of picking up the coat hook or making something similar.
