What is everyone doing with their Kong-Off Marques?

I just got mine, and it is awesome.

What is everyone doing with theirs -- hanging it on a wall, or putting it on a machine?

If you're hanging it, are you putting it into some sort of frame?

I think I'm gonna put mine in one of those glass frames where it looks like the picture is floating in the middle. My DK cab is a scratch build, it fits but there is too much pressure on the plexi, I don't want to break it. But when I end up getting an actually nintendo cab I'll put it on the cab probably.

Must be great minds think alike, the exception being I used a red background instead of the floating background. :D I'll post a picture up tonight.

Mine was for an investment so I will be selling it when it reaches peak value....say a Krajkerjac ballpark price of $999,999..................:p

A "Must Have" for every true DK fan.

I to find something else to put in the frame on the left and right side of the marquee. Any ideas ? Anyways here's mine above where my Red DK is going :D

I am toying with the idea of making a shadow box that is a replica of the top part of a DK.
It will be complete with T-Molding,marquee brackets and be painted blue. It will only be 4-6" deep though.
I will probably use small angle iron for the lower marquee bracket instead of an original one.
I found a CCFL tube that is 20" and should light it up nicely.

I'm going to box mine up in a crate and store it in a non-descrpt government warehouse never to be found again.

Actually no clue. I have another marquee with ex record holders signatures and plan on getting more so I have no idea how I'd display them all. - Barry

You stole my idea! :) I'm going to do this same thing. Here's a pic of something similar that I made for an extra MB marquee:

That is exactly what I have been thinking about doing. Just this morning I thought of this EXACT thing for Ninty marquees. Awesome Job.

That looks great.
I am going to do it a bit different though.
I am going to make it look like the top of a cab was cut off only it will be about 4-6" deep.
I am going to have the same shape as the cab on the front top corners and use a real top marquee bracket.
I haven't decided yet whether to run the T-Molding along the bottom front to back or just end it at the bottom.

I was thinking of doing the same thing also but I don't have good wall space to show these off next to my games so I was thinking of building it like a lighted topper to put on top of my only Nintendo (MB-WB.)

I'll probably end up custom framing it as well and hanging it in the game room somewhere. Maybe next to my Nintendo neon sign. I was thinking of putting it above DK, but then I thought it may look weird having two very similar looking marquees, one above the other.

Got my real DK cab finally and got the marquee installed. Looks so much better than the one I had printed. Just gotta Bondo and repaint the cab now :)

That looks AWESOME! Let me know if you want to make an extra to sell to me. :D Mine is sitting on top of my Arkaniod countertop still wrapped in bubblewrap.
