generally speaking.

I am at work and cannot get to exidy's price guide due to firewalls.
I can barely get in here, but I figured out a sneaky way.

Anyway, I don't need 100 responses, just an idea of if it's a $200 game or a $900 game.
thanks

assume id's dedicated and in really good shape.

I'd pay more than a Pac-man for it's better game play. So about $200-350. I wouldn't pay more.

I'd pay $300 for one in good condition if I had the room & money.

Always looking on eBay and saw a few machines go relatively cheap ($125-250).

The boards are tough to find. I would like to make mine into a dedicated PacMania someday if I can get a board at a reasonable price.

Do you have a PacMania cab?

In my experience, Pacmania is one of the rarer of the Pac line but generally rare because it's unloved, not because it's in demand. I would pay around 250 for one in very nice shape because I like it, but more realistically it's a 150 dollar game. If you really want one I would say 350, I've seen a couple go in that range.

That's true.

It's too bad it wasn't a litte more fun, `cause the music and sound effects are a perfect homage to the entire Pac series, in the same vein as Galaga `88.

If you get one and want to let it go, let me know... It's one of my wifes favorite games, I'd like to find a nice dedicated one.

Pacmania

That is a rare game to see pop up. There are collectors that will pay well for one, nice or not. I sold one 2 years ago working with no side art. After shipping, It was in the $800 range. Dont let these guys lowball you. Check with Riptor. He probably knows best.

Not worth the asking price of the seller IMO. I saw the ad you saw and would not pay that much and I kind of want one. The max I would pay if I had a lot of spare cash would be $300 and right now I'd probably more be looking to pay $100-200. Kind of a niche game even for being a pac man. Just not one most care for.

I am either going to trade the guy a new golf club (driver) or I am not.
I get a little better than retail price at my shop.

I think I paid $300 for mine a few years ago. Its one of the more rare pac games and I actually love the gameplay.
Most of them only had sideart on one side from the factory.
I was lucky enough to get a set of sideart Rich did a while back. He only made a handful of sets.
You never see pcbs for sale...except the one on ebay for $200 thats been on there for a year now :)

I've actually seen a couple pac mania boards sell for $200. Here no less! It's the whole game that I seldom see fetch a lot of money. The board and marquee seem to be some what desirable. My guess is people will pay for the board because it's jamma and they can play it in any jamma cab. Sadly as usual it's probably worth more in parts than whole.

At the superauctions in Milwaukee a couple of months ago a really mint one went for $450. It was in perfect condition. And the guy had money to spend, he must have dropped 4000+ that day. And the auctioneer really had to convince him to keep bidding it up.

400 to 600+

I saw one years ago that was won on the price is right

go for about 1000 if memory serves. It was very nice.
