what in your arcade doesn't work????

All of mine work right now to some degree. Asteroids Deluxe still hums like crazy. . haven't gotten to the bottom of that yet. The Tempest is still in the restoration phase, although it is playable. Defender is using a JROK board with the real audio board right now since the main board has a problem.

Oh yeah, forgot about the black light not working in the Omega Race. . that should be easy to fix, just haven't gotten to it yet.

. . and this thread reminds me how I want to do more work with fpga implementations of boards. Going to be a while for me.

what does work or what does'nt work right or needs too be fixed?

Only 1 of my games is down at the moment Tut is down with a busted Power Cord.

DKJR Needs bottom of cab completely done, scamble restore still needs harness *might have a lead on one of those. So the days of Lost Tomb might be over!

Championship Sprint - Works, but needs cap kit done (Thanks for giving that to me with the game, Chris!) and I need to either iron the marquee, or seek replacement, it's all wrinkly.

Pole Position II (mame machine, so it will actually play  ) - Works, but monitor is waaaaaaaaay washed out. Need to replace.

Joust - Works and is pretty, so nevermind that one...

Rampage - Works great, just need to install the nicer CP and bezel I got for it. Oh, and replace the marquee bulb or ballast.

Vs. Excitebike - Works great, needs levelers added, she wobbles. Needs a cap kit done, before Brien says it.

Tron - Works great, needs cosmetic work like side art and a few things here-and-there. Need to replace the Satan's Hollow trigger assembly that's in it with the correct Tron stuff.

Space Invaders - Monitor goes out randomly, "Psssh" "Pssh" player firing noise doesn't work, but all other sounds are fine.

Donkey Kong - Plays great, just need to figure out a nice way to add a coinup switch somewhere (without harming the cab) that still looks good. (And I don't want to use the lock switches)

This is a trick question...they mostly all work to some extent, and I doubt anyone has a 100% operational nothing-needed 'cade.

If I were to say which ones I can't just fire up - I know my Space Zap needs some attention, but other than and some projects that may or may never get done they almost all work if juice is applied.

now that my colectoin has grown it always seems to be something always needs repair or attention (mo games, mo problems) right now i'm having a crystal castles issue.. what needs attention in your arcade?

Well, my Crystal Castles "grail" is down as of last night :( It blew a fuse, so I'm replacing them all and then it's off to Bob for a big blue and A/R rebuild kit...

Sprint 2 - needs pcb work
Qix - also needs board work, but will most likely end up a 60 in 1 or multi taito.

I'm still surprised that my Champ Sprint didn't arrive D.O.A., but it has it's issues. The whole cab needs to be reset, glued, & screwed. I need to replace the fan that powers on and the blades are frozen, need to replace the power cord, need to readjust the wiring for both steering wheels as it decides when it wants to work, needs a cap kit and/or a monitor adjustment. Could be worse, at least it powers on, lol.

Jason (Souzilla) made a freeplay rom hack for DK as well. Just burn two eproms, and you have freeplay goodness!

OoooOOOoooh! Does the free play mode have attract characteristics?

I will PM him. Thanky!
