what in your arcade doesn't work????

Pole Position and Gyruss.... (needs mame redoing)
Battlezone......(PCB repair)
Hard-drivin.......(no video)
Star Trek SOS..... (blown monitor after PCB's repaired!)
Big Choice Crane...... (bad caps)

What does work.....

60-1
Commando
Asteroids
Gauntlet Legends
Spy Hunter (missing all sounds except Peter Gun theme)
Gladiator
Road Riot
Road Blasters
Hang-On (wiring acts up sometimes but playable)
Bow and Arrow Pinball ( sticky solenoid sometimes but playable)

Paperboy CP needs a new single hook spring
Moon Patrol's power supply needs to be rebuilt

Omega Race. Plays blind. Looks like a vector generator issue.

battle Zone. Dead. both boardsets need to be repaired.

MonacoGP. 20ez has no picture game plays blind

All my games are running just fine. *knock on wood*

Though, my X-Men monitor needs a serious rebuild (cap kit, rejuv, flyback, etc.). I'm going the lazy route and getting a nice replacement monitor this weekend. :D

the only thing left technically a possible project is an Outrun that may have to be for parts instead. It's totally raw worn.

My HS5 came alive with SF3 2nd impact so it's coming along nicely. Namco monitor board is still out to be fixed.

Not counting projects............everything is running. That's what the party on Saturday is for, to see if anything will break so I can get it fixed before the Houston Arcade show.

My big problem is that I have more machines than room. I was going to put some out on the patio, but weather may be an issue. :(

I only have 6 games, and they all work! I kind of cheated by giving away my dead project game this week.

What doesn't work? Everything:

Turbo - Needs to be put back together, have monitor tested/installed and new back door made.

Boot Hill - Needs broken components on boardset replaced, new monitor, background artwork, back doors

IGT Haywire slot machine - Needs PCB repair and lots of cosmetic work

Road Blasters - Needs cosmetic work and power supply issues repaired

Monaco GP - Needs lots of cosmetic work and to be put back together and tested

Buck Rogers - Pretty much everything. MAJOR cabinet repair, PCB repaired, monitor repaired, new CPO and side art

Rampage World Tour- needs power supply
Stargate- had a green color issue. The last time plugged in, wouldn't boot.
Tempest- blooming monitor, weirdness from boards
Galaxian- monitor G02 smoked last Summer
Paperboy- no speech
Tron missing sound
Battlezone- dead
Spy Hunter- loose CP wires
Marble Madness- graphics / logic problems

It's more fun to play the working stuff than to work on the broken stuff- hey- that sounds like a tagline

Everything is on the up and up for the most part. Only have 5 games, though. The marquee light on the Raiden could use work. Tetris works but the wiring is a total rat's nest. Needs to be ripped out and replaced.

All the complete games in my house are working; though there is a Birdie King II cab that is missing most of it''s innards, and actually it's spoken for, or it would be runing a multiboard.

The games not in my house:

PPII - boards good, needs GO7 chassis rebuilt, is in my ex wifes garage.

Continental Circuit - dead, haven''t really messed with it at all yet, is in my mom's garage.

Some unknown Rock Ola cab - completely stripped, waiting to be sanded, also in my mom's garage.

I don't really want to think about it... too depressing :(

Actually, if you loosely define work as "playable" then most of the games work...
my tempest went blind a while back and my BZ board set went off to a kindly young man from the southern tier (as I told him I would fix his and couldn't [didn't]).
The rest of the games that are actually in the house are working, but a lot of the pins need to be shopped, centipede needs a cap kit... etc...

cheers
/Tim

Deco Cassette CT: Tape deck is bad. Rolling the dice on a unknown condition deck.

Revolution X: Plays fine. Need the sound pcb repaired or replaced.

Mortal Kombat II: Has a flaky Jamma connector. Just gonna replace the connector and pins.

Mania Challenge (in storage): Just needs a cap kit.

Die Hard arcade: If you bump the cab the screen goes haywire. Gotta figure that out. Monitor does need a good rebuild anyway.

The other 18 cabs work flawlessly.

Over half of my collection doesn't work. That includes half a dozen pinball projects. If I didn't pick up another project, these could keep me busy for at least 5 years, and that's if I restored a pinball machine/year, which is very unrealistic.

Star castle needs PS, board and monitor work
Scramble needs harness/ edge connector work
Galaxian cocktail needs PS, board and monitor work(vertical collapse)

Andrew

Space War - boards went to Canada 2.5 weeks ago and have not showed up yet - I'm nervous about that!!

Battlezone - just fixed it last week, but the monitor needs some more adjustment, or a cap kit.

Tempest - spinner is acting up and sometimes not responding, sometimes it does...?

Tom

Hmm, all vector games....

Oops forgot to mention my Star Wars Trilogy doesn't work either....need to get a board for it still. Model 3 hardware isn't cheap, but I'm hoping maybe to find a working board to convert.

Double Dragon - Needs new board/Monitor
Scramble - new board/harness
Track and Field - Needs cabinet resto/harness or Jamma to Konami adapter
Block Out - monitor work
Mame cab - need to build giant aircraft carrier CP
Turbo cockpit - scrambled screen, need to diagnose... either a power or board issue
Super Pac Man - May need harness... got everything else.
Pole Position - Board repair and Monitor work
