now that my colectoin has grown it always seems to be something always needs repair or attention (mo games, mo problems) right now i'm having a crystal castles issue.. what needs attention in your arcade?

Domino Man (awaiting board repair)
Pole Position (board repair)
Blasteroids (board repair)
QuadraPong (board sent to Bit_Slicer for repair)
Q*Bert (main and sound board repair)

Anyone sensing a pattern here? ;)

wish i knew why my area 51 didnt work right!! pretty sure its a hard drive, havent had the time to figure it out.

Omega Race plays blind.
Battlezone has some wiggly vectors.
Root Beer Tapper has no sound.
Stargate doesn't remember it's settings.
Satan's Hollow needs an MCR adapter.

The only PIA one is Battlezone... the rest I just need time with.

Phoenix Pin - Have everything, just don't have time. Need to finish cleaning PF and put everything back together...then pray.

Magic Worm - Will probably never be a magic Worm again, thinking of MAME'ing it and having it boot up to Magic Worm to start. (The boards/PSU aren't working and I'm sick of the headache trying to get them working with absolutely no docs)

Need to make some frames for my Pachinko's and get some glass for them, currently sitting on the floor with too thin of plastic in place of the glass. It IS comfortable playing them sitting on the floor mind you...

Time...never enough damn time!

Donkey Kong w/ high save kit - turns on, ram failure during boot. reset fixes :p Not a total problem, just yet.

Red Tent - sound amp non working on one of the monitors. Out for repair

Devil's Dare Pinball - Either bumpers work 100% or the sounds work 100%, but never at the same time. Winter project.

Ms Pac-Man - pcb having ram failure/other issues - out for repair.

Galaxian - need to rebuild joystick, sloppy. Just had pcb repaired.

here's the list:

Asteroids needs board repair (considering attempting myself)
Neo Geo MVS needs monitor and psu
Sega Turbo basket case of sorts

The other games have a few cosmetic issues I'm working on, but I don't count those, since they are technically functional

stun runner, got it from a storage unit VERY dusty, pulled some rom's and connections and put back together now it boots but freezes i think with a little more tinkering and can air and ill have it,just no time to mess with it.

Firefox is flatlining, but I think its just the pcb connectors. Just have to get the time and energy to start the job. Also, I have about 3 dynamo HS-5s that need a little love and a Space duel that should be up and running in about 5 min. when I get the thing moved to a suitable location.

Mine are all working great woot!!! tho the engine rumble is still out on my Battlezone math board. Its a analog sound and has its own circuit. I should quit being lazy and figure it out.

Pac-48in1- Has monitor issues along with the green screen of death.

Crazy Climber- missing sounds, Lights on coin door need replacing.

Star wars- Some of the figures are incorrectly drawn, picture to large.

Tetris - Plays blind, darn monitors..

Speed buggy - Power Supply keeps craping out, purchased a new one but have yet to install it.

Toobin' - Monitor issues, needs work.

Mine were all working before my party last month, but after being on for the entire day a few games went down/developed problems.

Star Wars Cockpit - Deflection board gives intermittent deflection
Berzerk - locked up, now won't boot
Paperboy - Red color is weak

The next day, my Frenzy decided it wanted to be like its brother and wouldn't boot.

My F-14 pinball also gives a sensor error on startup, but never has problems during gameplay.

None of them should be difficult problems, I just haven't had time/motivation to look at them.

Mutlipede-Matsushita monitor took a shit. I will have a working one on the way soon.

Multigame-I have to change the Jamma harness to a G07.

Galaxian (waiting for my board to come back)
Moon Patrol (board issue)
Joust (board issue)
Galaga (board issue)
Star Wars (power supply issue)

on my last power up, everything worked... but that was well over 18 months ago and now everything is in storage while we attempt to sell our house... so I really hope everything has survived.

WHoever said ss stuff is better then em, well, i dont agree.

My 2 em pins have been perfect since shopped.. my ss bally freeedom, not so much..

rebuilt mpu. replaced a ton of connectors.. worked for awhile then shat trhe rectifiers ont he ps board. replaced those, worked then after awhile displays got real bright. found toasted regulator on the solenoid driver board.. fixed that, started getting lights that would stick on and some never worked, had to replace a bunch of transistors.. Then intermittently i would lose flippers due to the relay bieng intermittent. found bad greound between the boards and repaired.

then after all that mess, it worked for another year or so and now its dead again. No power to mpu, replaced rectifiers on the ps again and same.. i have no ac into one of the rectifiers, and form what i can tell i have a "odd" failure of the transformer itself.

Im not too suprised, the thing always ran hot.

SO if anyone has a early bally ss transformer with or without the rectifier board, lmk.

Frogger (Needs the F601 fuse on the PC board replaced)
DK Jr. (horizontal collapse)
DK (Many issues)
SF II:WW (Needs to be rewired)
