So far I've gotten rid of a couch, love seat, end tables, coffee table, my kids train table and rocking horse.

Next up, the entertainment center.

My game room started small but now takes up almost all of the finished part of my basement.

I just sold an Xbox store kiosk in favor of a Red Tent...

My whole apartment is a game room, really... I have too much stuff... mainly console stuff, but I'm getting more arcade stuff regularly

Did you have the fuel injection and moon roof? I had a super beetle, car was a blast. To keep it on topic, I *almost* had the mud room designed OUT of the house plan so I could expand another 12x15. Almost. I do have my eye on the couch in the play area, I figure if I can eliminate that I can put in a row of pins and save my packed game room for vids.

Our Guest Bedroom was emptied to make way for the Outer Limits Wing. That gave me room for 7 more games.

No to both. I built it to autocross, so I put a little extra effort into the engine, 1996cc with my own special blend of headwork. It was a damn quick car but I sold it to someone right before I got remarried. He moved back to CT and the car runs high 12s in the quarter on a good day now (he is not into auto-x).

I've basically adjusted my garage storage. When I moved in I had a ring of shelves all the way around the edge of my garage. I converted most of the storage to hanging shelves, which are great, they really use up otherwise completely wasted space.

First I got rid of my wife. ...

I was wondering how many people would say this.

It's the most efficient way to do it! ;)

He's telling the truth- after all, he's the only guy I know with a FUNCTIONING Edward Scissorhands glove. :D

I have a fully-functioning Freddy Kreuger glove that I made... What does that say about me?

Phetishboy...I've been noticing in some of the pictures you post of this room, your walls, and specifically, the artwork in the corners. Outstanding. Do you have any pictures of your walls and how you painted that on there??

Inquiring minds would like to know...

Regards,
Tom

Hey Tom,

I painted the whole room baby blue, then taped off the arches and 'space ship viewing windows' and painted them in black. I then installed the space mural of the earth from the moon on 2 walls, and painted some planets and stars on the other 2 walls. I then bought some rolls of green border, rolled black light paint onto the boarder, let that dry, cut it into 9 inch strips, used a laser level and tape measure to line them up, then stuck them in the black arches to simulate glowing plasma or what ever sci-fi shit glows inside spaceships. I then added black lights and games, and I rearrange it every month as I rotate games in and out. That's why you see the line-up change and different games in different shots from the same angle. I still have some ideas and things to do, but the room is awesome as is and is a hit at every party.

My home office...

Had a room in the basement set up as an office. Blew out the wall and is now the gameroom addition holding 9 more games.

I removed our water softener for the Nintendo row.

Next up is my basement work bench since I do most of my repairs now in the family/craft area. :D
