What happened to jammaboards.com? R.I.P. Tim - Respect!

So what we know

1. Died young
2. Did a lot for the hobby
3. Successful business owner
4. Father of 5
5. Husband
6. Survived by his mother
7. Navy veteran

Sounds like a great guy, wish I'd met him!

Really stinks. I've ordered from him many, many times. I too have a small biz in this hobby. I hope if something happens to me that my friends in the game community would help see my family through the mess I might leave behind. Glad to see an admin willing to step in, I have a feeling I'm also glad I can't see some of those posts that were deleted.

Man this is a bummer, WAY too young to be gone. :(

As far as them taking orders days before his death, they might not have expected him to be dying so soon, he might have been doing seemingly well and then got an infection or something that got him, I had a friend go out that way. Cancer fucking sucks.

You didn't get ripped off. They did you a favor!

Now go buy an ArcadeSD!

:D

Whoops. I missed most of this thread.

R.I.P Tim.

Tim was valuable to the community and an inspiration to many. Will be missed but not forgotten.

Sorry to sound like a vulture, but did anything ever come of the business. Did someone buy his inventory and designs to continue production?

Did anyone ever try to liquidate the business operations? The website still says "temporarily closed", so at least we know the web bill is still being paid.

Really?

Sorry if I offended. I didn't know Tim. I placed one order with him and it was fine. His business has value and there is nothing wrong with his family enjoying the fruit of his labor. If they chose to continue the business I'm sure our patronage would be appreciated.

If you are looking for the fingerboards he sold Ian Kellogg has made similar products.

Bumping a long forgotten thread for a lost community member. I was digging through my old parts and found a fingerboard from jammaboards.com. Life is too short.

Play your games, enjoy your life, much love.
