What happened to jammaboards.com? R.I.P. Tim - Respect!

I buy and sell a lot of games, and I often run across games that people have replaced joysticks in, or buttons, or made into multigames, or whatever.

You would be surprised at how many of those specifically have parts from jammaboards.com , I think this is a bigger blow to the arcade community (regardless of what you think about multigames) than people may know. Apparently this was one of the absolute biggest sources of parts for a lot of casual collectors.

Condolences to the family.
I know that I had one of his products bookmarked - a NeoGeo -> Jamma Converter, for whenever I would eventually get an MVS board. And I mean, I'm thinking YEARS ahead here..

So that's how much his site's even affected *ME* - someone withOUT ANY vids. (Yet..)

I have bought from Jammaboards. While I do collect real coin ops, I have build a couple of Multi game machines. One I used the vigolix plans to build single player sit down cab (I am starting work on my second vigolix cab this weekend). The other machine was a gutted Sega Buck Rogers that I had a MAME system in and decided to just put a 520 in 1 Pandora's Box.

I think there are many like me that love the original machines but still like to build their own multi-game machines also.

I attached a pic of my vigolix cab with a 60 in 1(I still need to buy some plastic to cover the monitor edges).

This is terrible news Tim was a nice guy. I had a few conversations with him on the phone and via email. I liked the guy. He was always helpful.

Rest in please.

I've ordered from Tim in the past as well and he was one of the good ones.

As someone who has experienced watching a loved one degrade and pass away from cancer, my heart and prayers go out to his family.

To those that spoke ill of Tim and/or were more concerned with their orders/money, shame on you. It makes me sad to think that this is probably how you view/treat people in your every day life. Smh.

fuck cancer, this sucks...

I've ordered from Tim lots of times in the past. :(

RIP Tim.

Agreed. Some of the first parts I even purchased were from Jammaparts. Rip Tim, you will be missed.

RIP Tim.

Indeed it does suck, prayers to his family because right now they really need them. Sept 23 marked three years since cancer took my dad so I know what they are/have gone thru and it's horrible.

Condolences to family and friends.

I don't often visit KLOV so when / if the site gets back up drop me a PM and I will order some items to show my support for his time spent helping us and hopefully it in some small way can help out his family.

As for those with orders pending and without the capacity to NOT be an asshole please feel free to PM me and explain how your $100 is of greater value than the suffering Tim had dealt with or the pain and suffering his family and friends will now have to deal with.

Assholes everyone's got one, I guess we just found ours.

What a wonderful picture, really brings the humanity into the discussion and drives home we're takling about a human being, not just a website address.
