What goes bad on switchers?

i got a new happ switcher power supply for my mad planets and it lasted a day....getting 120v at the lugs, no red light or outputs...any ideas to troubleshoot? fuse is good.

If the fuse is good, you may be scratching your head for a while. I always seem to have problems figuring out what is wrong when the fuse isn't blown.

When the fuse IS blown, it's usually several blown MOSFET's. Sometimes you'll find domed caps...
 
all caps looked good to the eye, fuse is good....i'll get a replacement from arcadeshop then...dont feel like fiddlin with it forever.

If it just lasted a day and there is not burning smell, it might be a cold solder joint but as another has pointed out. It would be easier to just to call the company up and see if they can replace it for you.

I wonder if mad planet needs a bigger amperage power supply?
