When I got my Ms. Pac back in 2006, I had to go to NYC to pick it up. After I won the auction on feebay, the only viable time I could go pick it up was........ Memorial Day weekend! Thankfully it wasn't as bad as I thought it might end up being (thought traffic would be the pits with everyone travelling for the Holiday) but thankfully it was a relatively painless covert op.

Have you ever gone and picked up a game on a Holiday? How did the run go?

haunted house pinball on this past new years day.
other seller had black knight and catacombs pin i wanted, but was hanging with his lady on new years day.

Omega Race on mothers day 2010. Picked it up without the pretty lady knowing.

I ruined my secret within 10 minutes, (I thought she knew) and now I am still catching a little crap here and there :)

So tomorrow (un)officially kicks off the Memorial Day weekend. And if all goes well, tomorrow night I will have my new Berzerk at home. :D

Got a Time Soldiers for free from my cousin on Christmas day once. It wasn't intended as a Christmas present but hey free is free. Had no problems with traffic as she lives out in the country. I did, however, manage to get my pickup stuck in her driveway :)

Picked up a non-working Rolling Thunder on Christmas Eve. His wife was so thrilled to have it out of the upstairs apartment. I told her removing it was a Christmas gift from her husband. I think he got something special that night.

I paid $200 for the machine. Needed a fuse. Was a pain to take down the eleventy-seven stairs but it was well worth it. Sold it later for $250. Woo hoo!!!

I drove to New York on New Years day a few years ago to pick up a machine. Ughh...bad move. It was snowing, andtraffic was bad, and obviously it was LATE and LONG night the day before!

A couple of projects, a Centipede and a Stargate this last Easter weekend.

If I am lucky, something cool tomorrow at the SuperAuctions....[fingers crossed]
