What game was this?

my first thought was something williams like a robotron cabaret. Although robotron would have a second coin door area so it's not that. It actually looks too well made IMO to be likely that it's home made. And the stencil leads me to believe it was a specific game. Probably a generic knock off but I would guess it's not home made.

no, not home made. Has no sticker or name plate on the back either. The art work is painted on, didn't have any control panel when I got it either....I'm guessing it was some generic cab and probably housed many games through the years. Just thought maybe someone seen it before.

The side-art is a dead give-away. It's Star Fighter by Potomac. I have seen the mini cabinet with both blue and black sides. The following pics show the blue sided mini, but if anyone has pics of the black sided mini, please let me know!

cool, thanks. At least now I know what the CP looks like....never heard of the game. I guess it's a copy of eagle.

It's a really obscure game. I would like to play one in person myself.

just thought I post an update of what the game turned out after I transformed it one last time, maybe........before and after pics. Just sold it this morning.

Nice job

That cab looks nice, if you don't mind me asking, what did you pull down for your multi? Does it have a 60-1 in it? Also did you get the artwork from Mame Marquees? If so, did you like it? Thanks!

It has a 48-1, last one I had. It really turned out nice....better then I though it would. I been building them for a few years now and got it down to about 15hrs of build time. Strip the cabinet, repaint and add art. Set up CP most of the time I build my own out of wood. Wire it and add either a PC tube monitor or rebuild the original monitor if the tube is good (without or very little burn in).

I been getting my art from mame marques....they are cheap and fairly decent. Most people who buy these games don't know a good one from a bad CP overly. What I found works best with his stuff is not to get the advices backing. Use plexi to cover them up and on the marquees use 2 pieces of plexi to sandwich the art work.

I try to find cabinets that are either empty or have been converted to some JAMMA game. You can usually pick them up for around $50-$100 and if you get lucky sell the boards for $30-$50 on ebay.

I think the price depends on location, seems like I do best around $700-$900. I usually sell them within 2 weeks time of completion. That gives me enough time to get the bugs out as I play it a few hrs a week.
